Margaret was born at home July 19, 1926 in Seymour, Texas to Robert and Bessie Brown. She was so frail and little when she was born, her family was warned “You better come quick if you want to see her alive!” She proved that mid-wife wrong by living 83 rich, full years!
1944
Graduated from Northside High School in Fort Worth Texas
1947
Graduated Texas Christian University in Fort Worth Texas with a Degree in Education.
1948
Married Roy Gustave Marriott and moved to Perry Oklahoma.
1960
Started Margaret E. Marriott Real Estate.
1970
Moved to Norman, Oklahoma where she continued her real estate career at The Velma Barnes Agency.
1978
Moved to Moore, Oklahoma where she worked with Greenbrier Real Estate and RE/MAX of South Oklahoma City.
1990
Moved to Yelm, Washington.
2001
Awarded “Life Master”, the American Contract Bridge League’s highest rank of achievement.
2009
